At FPP we consider the sharing of content and knowledge to be one of our principal responsibilities. We’ve created FPP Checkout to allow us to deliver against this.

The purpose of this platform is to simplify the consumption of content. With so many sources in both the offline and online world, it’s easy to fall behind on essential reading. Checkout finds relevant, up-to-date information and delivers it to you in one easily-accessible environment. What’s more, we also use Checkout to provide FPP category analysis and opinion whenever and wherever relevant.

Checkout is a platform designed with you in mind. And that doesn’t just apply to the content we deliver, but also the way in which we deliver it. We provide information that isn’t just relevant to the industry as a whole, but relevant to you as an individual.

If you click on ‘My Account’, you’ll be able to select the categorical content that is of interest to you. This will allow us to prioritise the content that we know you like.

We use a number of sources for the articles featured on Checkout. Whilst we won’t necessarily cover all of the publications you access, below is a list of the most common to try and give you as much as possible in one place:

The Tech Life Conversation

Analysis of the ‘tech life’ conversation on Twitter.

Technology is continuing to change how people learn, how they create, and how they work. People are excited, even if a bit uncertain at times, about having a front-row seat to fundamental change, and they’re imagining the possibilities of a more connected, more efficient, more expansive future.

‘Blended Realities’ is a significant element of this conversation, with mixed reality, immersive environments, and AI are stretching the limits of our everyday world, as blended reality finds its way into work, education, shopping, leisure, and more.

Another major element was ‘Future Tech’ – being so emphasised due to the amount of cities, workspaces, and homes are getting smarter thanks to technology and the imminent advent of 5G.

The last trend was ‘Tech Angst’, which stresses the importance of understanding the cons of tech. The world is changing quickly, and from questions around the morality of AI to the inescapable effect of screen culture, technology is a subject often accompanied by anxiety.

Brands need to be aware of these conversational trends regarding technology and make sure to incorporate them into their campaigns, but be aware of the negative impact it may have on consumers.
