Nush takes on Gü and The Coconut Collaborative with dairy-free choc pots
Dairy alternatives brand Nush is going head to head with Gü and The Coconut Collaborative in desserts with a range of dairy-free choc pots.
The brand’s new Chocolate Orange Choc Pots will launch into independents this month (rsp: £3/2x75g). Nush claims they are the first chilled dessert pot made with nut milk in the UK – they use almond milk in place of dairy.
The pots are high in protein, containing 5g per 75g pot, and come in at 195 calories each.
They are free from dairy, lactose, gluten, soya, preservatives, additives and refined sugar. They contain Belgian cocoa powder, orange oil and apple for sweetness.
Nush co-founder Bethany Eaton said the NPD would “fill a gap in the market for delicious, protein-rich, plant-based desserts”.
