Co-op to supply Superdrug with food-to-go products in new deal
The Co-op has struck a new deal to supply food-to-go products to Superdrug.
The move will see the Co-op supplying an initial range of 40 products to Superdrug including own brand sandwiches, sushi and salads as well as prepared fruit.
The initial phase is being rolled out to seven Superdrug stores all based in key transit hubs. There are three airport stores, in East Midlands, Bristol and Edinburgh airports, as well as Brighton and Sheffield railway stations and two London stations – Victoria and Fenchurch Street.
The range includes Co-op’s best-selling chicken and bacon sandwich; salmon and prawn sushi; vegan onion bhaji wrap, an all-day breakfast sandwich and its falafel tabbouleh salad.
The Co-op ‘mains’ will form part of the existing Superdrug meal deals, which include a main, soft drink and confectionery line for £3.79 in the railway stores and £3.99 in the airports.
